Brian Williams’ newest spot launches the third year of Digital Biscuit, Ireland’s Film and Technology Forum. The spot aims to show how great creativity can be achieved through collaboration.
The thinking behind the spot was to capture the visceral reality of what digital looks and feels like in the real world of filmmaking. It’s not shiny and slick, it’s covered in dirt and gaffer tape, it’s dented and scratched. For this reason, nearly all of this commercial was genuinely shot. The set was like a scientist’s lab – mild burns were suffered and the thick the smell of chemicals hung in the air. The sentiment of the spot was perfectly display in its execution – collaboration at its best.
